The World of Color Dining Packages no longer says temporarily unavailable. Carthay Circle was removed from that page too. Does anyone in the parks know if they are now available for sure?

The temporary unavailable was gone yesterday when I checked. But I still don't see a button to book. Am I missing something?

I still see Carthay Circle listed.

Each package includes:

  • Wine Country Trattoria or Carthay Circle Restaurant: 3-course meal (starter, entrée and dessert) from a prix-fixe menu, plus a non-alcoholic beverage.
  • Storytellers Cafe: An all-you-care-to-enjoy buffet and a non-alcoholic beverage (specialty coffees not included).

How weird, your link has Cathay Circle, but when I look not using your link, it isn’t there.

I don’t think there will be a button to book. You just book at the restaurant and then ask the server.

Strange. Thanks for sharing. Is this similar to the Fantasmic RBT package where I book lunch earlier in the day (as opposed to dinner) in order to snag a voucher? Between the two options (WCT and ST), which is the better option in terms of food/experience?

I haven’t eaten at either, maybe someone else will respond. I would choose Wine Country even though I heard the food is just so-so because I don’t think I can ale myself go to a buffet yet.

Website states:
Storytellers Cafe and Wine Country Trattoria Reservations
You can make a reservation to dine at either restaurant, but reservations for the World of Color Dining Package are not available online or via the app. If you would like the World of Color Dining Package, let your host or server know. World of Color Dining Packages are on a first-come, first-served basis and are subject to availability.

Perceiving the buffet to be a better value than a 3 course Prix Fixe menu, as they are the same price. If it follows the same as the OBB parade viewing, they just move some of the normal menu to the Prix Fixe menu, so it's all essentially the same food, just maybe a specialty dessert or something.

For storytellers, it only shows dinner as being available for the WoC package. Do you know if this is correct? We have a brunch reservation one day and a dinner one another day, but am hoping that "first come first serve" means we can do it with the brunch.

Yes, it is only dinner. Breakfast and brunch have characters. Dinner is the WoC package.

I asked this in another thread -- what if you show up for your dining reservation and there are no more viewing vouchers left? Especially because I would not have made the reservation for any other reason. Are we just expected to roll the dice and hope for the best?

They only sell as many spots for dinning packages as they have vouchers for that day. You can make a normal dining reservation also but you don't get the voucher, you have to book the package.

But that's not the way it works at RBT for the Fantasmic Regular Package. The instructions say to book a normal reservation, then ask your server to upgrade you to the package IF there is availability. For that reason, I booked RBT for the earliest seating.

I don't see any way to book the WOC dining package, so people have been under the impression that it works the same way as RBT. If not, I'd love the details on how to book the package. : )

**Edited to add that there is a Premium Fantasmic Package at RBT that you can book. But you can't book the Standard Package ahead of time. You have to request your server for the upgrade/voucher.

This is sooo confusing. Thank gods my trip is not till August. I have the rest of May to figure it out. Hopefully folks share their experiences.

So I just booked storytellers for 5:45 next week. Do I have it right in thinking that this now gives us access to the first showing that night? Or is there some special dining package that needs to be ordered for that?

That's how I interpret it. You have to ask your server if the package is available and then request it at the restaurant. Hoping people report back with their experiences.

Any news about how it worked? Is there a new menu? Where are the viewing locations?
