WOC Dessert party for dinner?

I've done it twice. I wouldn't skip dinner. It is a plate full of desserts, with unlimited non-alcoholic drinks. It does also include 2 alcoholic drinks (last summer it did). The desserts are pretty rich, I only ate half along with the fruit and cheese/crackers. They provided a to-go box for the other items.

I think it would be filling enough for dinner, but not the healthiest lol. You could get something small beforehand like a sandwich or corn dog, or bring it with you if you wanted to have it during the dessert party.

When we do the dessert party we have early dinner, like around 4:00 so we have room for the desserts.

I wouldn't skip dinner, but maybe do something reasonably healthy and maybe on the early side so you'll have plenty of room for deserts and won't get sick from eating too many sweets in one day.

Go get your table. Once seated place a mobile order somewhere. Go get your food and bring it back. Then have dinner and desert. We do it every time.
Or possibly even bring your food with you, if you can get the timing right. Awesome idea, I never thought of that.

We typically do either a late big lunch and nothing else, or a big lunch early and a light dinner. Don't want to eat too close to it or we won't be hungry enough to eat what is on the plate, but wouldn't want to rely on it as a meal either. The cheese and crackers aren't enough for a meal. The grapes, we have had good ones, and we have ones that were definitely on the edge and weren't eaten.

So we went with the late lunch on our break and still took home a lot of food. We did eat most the cheese and crackers and we got strawberries. Drink were good…not super strong but not weak..perfect for me as I did have 2. I’m glad we did it because it was a great treat for my daughters’ graduation trip and there was only one showing due to grad nite. But…I do prefer our usual spot on the front rail, water spray and all. :-)

Not skip dinner but for sure just a light meal at most....you want to go hungry. On Dessert Party nights we would do a bigger lunch and just a light grab an go dinner like a corn dog or Bangel BBQ a few hours prior to the show.
