Does anyone know if WOC will go dark after 01/08 to change it back to the regular show? I will likely be there on the 8th, but would prefer to see the regular show as I have not seen it yet.

Really I haven't seen any WOC shows! Maybe I should try to view both, if they are both going?
TIA

I guess no one knows? :)

If your schedule allows, yes, try to see both shows. The original WOC and Season of Light are both good!

Will there be any downtime of the show while they change over? Much like Haunted Mansion and its a small world will close to remove the holiday layover?

I don't know. Someone else might be able to comment on that.

Okay I am not an expert but if you look at the entertainment calendar you can see the change TO the Christmas version happening this week. It shows the regular WOC version on Thursday with two showings and the Christmas one starting the next day, Friday the 11th. This would say they can turn it over in less than 24 hours so it would seem reasonable to assume Disney is capable of going back that fast in January.

The unknown factor we don’t know is surrounding the new show WOC ONE premiering Jan 27th and if they will need to do staging or light work for that. Will there need to be updates for that prior to Jan 27th?

So to sum it up.
Can Disney show two different WOCs on back to back nights? Yes, definitely

Will they? I don’t know

My guess? I think you will be able to see two versions.

I didn't even think to look at the change TO the Christmas show. That makes sense. I'll just have to wait until the January entertainment schedule and hours gets published by Disney.

I will for sure make getting to the Jan. 6 show a priority.

Thanks everyone!

Personally I doubt they will show WOC at all between the end of the holiday season and January 26 since they are debuting a brand new WOC on January 27 as part of the 100 year celebration.

Dumb question---I never visited in Jan-March, but do they show WOC every night? Or is it just on weekends?

Dining Reservations opened this morning for Monday, January 9, 2023 - the first day and weekday following the holiday season. The World of Color Dessert party showed as a bookable option for the date. I went in and was able to select a reservation time of either 8:00 or 9:15 on 1/9. This seems to indicate that World of Color will be showing nightly (weekdays included) the old (non-holiday) show for the few week period between the holiday version and the new Disney 100 version on 1/27.

That is great news! Thanks for the heads up. :)
