Hey everyone,

My family and I will be going to the Disneyland parks next month for the first time in about 8 years :D I have an old seating chart saved for WOC, but I'm sure it's inaccurate now because it's dated 2012. Does anyone have or know where I can find current ones for both WOC and Fantastmic? I especially need ones that show where the wheelchair viewing areas are, because there are multiple people in wheelchairs (edited to clarify: three wheelchair users, one of whom can transfer, and there will be one other person with us) in our party. We're debating on getting a dinner or dessert package for one or both so that we don't have to get there as early, especially if the viewing spots are better, but I know with Fantasmic the last time we were there, we went all the way down near Critter Country I think it was for our zone only to be told that the wheelchair users were way on the other end where we started from. (Twas a stressful and frustrating time trying to hurry back to the right area through the tiny, roped lane they'd set up behind everyone!) So if they're still just putting all wheelchair users in the same area, it may not be worth it...I also know that for WOC, the wheelchair area in the blue zone was the perfect sightline to get the 3D projection effect. It's always a gamble whether you'll get blue or not, though. So maybe purchasing the dessert or dinner package would be worth it? Like I said, charts would be super helpful if anyone can provide them! Any other insight or advice you can offer is great, too. Thanks in advance :)

Dinner package would be ideal for F!. Straight line forward. No messing with the masses and you're in the last row of the reserved seating so no one standing in front of you.

Wc reserved entrance is south od mark Twain loading. It's small and off to the side. Still good. Arrive at least 1 hour before.

Woc same for the dessert. Reserved zone is off the side with plenty of.space just across little mermaid at the circle hub. There is a small area for Wc not reserved just behind the dessert section. This is partially obstructed but dead center. Arrive at least an hour before for these too.

So you should arrive at least one hour before for Fantasmic even with a reservation? How early should a wheelchair user arrive if they don't have a dinner package for Fantasmic? Also, are you saying that the dinner package seats are in the front of the group or the back? Finally, I'm considering not getting anything for WOC unless we don't get a blue section. Would day-of be too late to purchase a dessert package? How fast do they sell out? Thanks for your reply!

How many is "multiple" wheelchairs? And how many non wheelchair viewers will be in your party?

The first showing of Fantasmic is still quite crowded. If you need multiple wheelchair spaces, I would recommend a dining package and, as @nalababybear suggested, arriving an hour before the show starts. Wheelchairs are the back row of maybe 8-10 rows of people who are seated on the ground.

The second showing is not as crowded and they don't escort guests to their seats until a half hour before the show begins. Note: Fireworks begin at 9:30, in between the first and second Fantasmic shows. While some leave after the first show, the majority of guests don't leave the area until after fireworks.

There is a patio near Harbour Galley that is first come, first served for guests with dining packages tickets. The view is from the side and isn't as good as the regular dining areas, but there is space for wheelchairs, as well as seats, if people need them. I asked a CM what one needed to do in order to sit in that area and they said that they only needed to show their dining package ticket. Again, this is first come, first served.

On the map below, the blue circle is where Harbour Galley seating is located. The red area is an approximation of the dining package seating. Rancho del Zocalo (Z) is to the left, Blue Bayou (BB) is in the middle and River Belle Terrace (RB) is on the right. The lines separating the dining areas are not exact. I'm not 100% sure where the standby wheelchair area is located. Based on what @nalababybear said, it sounds like it is in the area with the teal circle.

Below is a photo of when people were just beginning to be seated for the second show. The region that is roped off to the right of the light post is the River Belle dining package area. The area to the left of the light post is for Blue Bayou. On the bottom right side of the photo, you can see a couple of wheelchairs (underlined in blue) in the back of the River Belle dining package area. There is also a wheelchair in the back row closer to the light post.

Finally, below is a photo of the view from the Rancho del Zocalo dining package seating. Not bad for $35. If I zoom in on my photo, I can see people in wheelchairs in the standby area. I circled that area in red. The photo was taken at 8 pm (an hour before the show began) and it looks like it was pretty full.

@LKing picture.king strikes it right. The standby wc entrance is just at the top of the teal circle between the tree and shrubs. It IS a smallish area so really need to be there early if you have several wc like 730-800 early.

Woc is larger and if you get the virtual queue, it's really sizable area to accommodate 15+ wc.

This is super helpful - thank you!! Yes, the area you have indicated as the standby wheelchair area looks accurate from what I remember. I've just been concerned because like I said, we got a Fantasmic dining package last time, the ticket indicated not to arrive early, so we got to the place after some confusion about the location maybe a few minutes after the earliest time they said to come, and when we arrived they said they had no room for our wheelchairs:/ So we had to go all the way back down and sit in the standby wheelchair section. There are three of us in wheelchairs. Sorry, should have written that in my original post. I'll edit it. There will also be one non-wheelchair-user with us. One wheelchair user can transfer out of their chair, but I'm not sure where he'd park it... It's good to know they do actually have an area for wheelchairs for the dining packages. If we do buy one, we'll definitely arrive earlier this time.

I'm sorry that happened.

There is no need to transfer out of a wheelchair. The view is better from your seat because you are looking above everyone else. There is also a slight incline to the area so the back row is a little higher than the front.

If your priority is viewing the show, I would plan on having dinner in the Adventureland/Frontierland/New Orleans Square area. CM usually start setting up for Fantasmic around 6 pm. The dining package lines start at Harbour Galley (across from Haunted Mansion, near the Columbia). Look for the CM by the Harbour Galley dining area with red umbrellas, explain your situation and ask what time they suggest you return.

The only reason I was thinking of a transfer was if space was tight. Thank you for the info and tips!

This is what I have for the old World of Color seating:

and this is what I have for the new one:

Any idea as to whether the wheelchair seating is in the same or similar spots as before? Also, the person who made this chart said the black circles are both dessert party viewing and disabled viewing. Do you know if that means they put some wheelchair users with a blue ticket in/near that dessert party area? Just trying to figure out if it's worth getting a dessert package or if we should just try for a free blue ticket. Do you do that through the app by the way?
