So, about a month ago we did the Ariel Grotto meal and got prefferd seating for the 10:15 show of world of color, it was great the meal was awesome, the ticket said right where to go and line up, they let us in to the show by escorting us to our section then we waited for about 30 or so min. and watched a great show. Last week i visited DCA again and we decided to do the picnic meal for the 9 show. WHAT A MESS, we picked up our cold meal, although it was pretty tasty i was shocked it was cold. got our ticket that just said be there at 7:45, no location or anything, so we hung out around Paradise park around 7 just to people watch and ask CM where we are supposed to "line" up for the yellow section, the CM told us they dont like to associate with the word "line" and that at 7:45 we could got to a "holding area" and they would let us in. then they kicked us out of Paradise park around 7:15, then told us to line up behind the purple baracades. We headed over to the baracade, and it was CHAOS every color but red was waiting there, there was no order, nobody to tell us were to go, then at 7:45 they just move the baracade and let everyone funnel through and run like caddle, then when you get to your color section if you dont get pushed out of the way by strollers and running people, they dont even take your fastpass or tell you were your sections are(handicap, wet zone, etc) then you stand around on the concrete for another hour, because there is no sitting, if you do sit, a CM will come over and tell you there is no sitting and it is standing room only, then around 8:30 a horrible preshow starts any they try to hype you up after you have been standing arleady for over an hour. then finally the horrible pre-show ends and the Amazing WoC begins. but when you leave the show there are clearly LINES for the other shows that are all uniformed and escorted into there spots. So my recomendation for anybody that is going with small kids or senior citizens is to go to a later show and it will be FAR more enjoyable.
