I never watched this show because I thought it was some stupid, poorly written teen drama. But, it's actually really good! I'm only on the 1st season, episode 5 where Ben proposes to Amy.

Does it get better later on in the season?

I got into them when ABC family was playing all of them before the season premiere.
I saw the couple of episodes before the birth and the newest one and yes they are amazing!
I thought it would kind of be cheesy like you did but I was sure wrong!

I actually really like this show! I've seen every episode. It is sorta cheesy. Unrealistic? I wouldn't go that far with it, it just shows a teenager getting pregnant and having to deal with it all. I love how they show every other characters lives too, and I love how somehow they all interact with each other.

I wouldn't say it was 'good', but alas, I watch it. They say 'sex' and 'baby' a LOT. The plot lines are predictable, and the acting is terrible. I honestly can't tell you one thing about it that I like, except for Molly Ringwald being in it.

My mom and I counted how many times they say "baby" in the show.
It came out to 35.

The "good" part about the show is when my mom and I make fun of it out loud.

and...the acting in that part...was SO terrible along with the REST of the show, its hard NOT to laugh.

The plot line is awful making people feel completely crappy.
What ever happened to funny little bouncy shows that aren't so tradgic? I like watching shows that take me away from the real world and make me feel as if something good is happening in the world at the moment...not "Even though this girl already got pregnant I'm going to take off my purity ring and have sex with Jack in order to keep him and his christian-ness to myself"

Lololol! Yes. And Jack came downstairs and was like 'What!? We just had sex!?' Oh come on, that's so unrealistic. And I know everyone grieves differently, but their 'I just lost a loved one' acting is horrible!
