WMAlex Says: New DISBoard Servers Tomorrow Night

If your Christmas wish was for faster DISBoards.. it's coming true!

Our new servers are loaded and ready to go! We will be migrating the boards tomorrow (friday) evening. The boards will go down at 9pm eastern time and you should plan on the migration taking 6 to 8 hours.

If you would like to help test the new servers go here:

You will see a version of the boards that looks a few days old. You can go ahead and post etc, change your avatar, your signature, whatever you want. Any changes or posts will be overwritten when we migrate.

All the usual board rules apply.

If you find any problems please post on the tech support board

The board is still sometimes taking a really long time (ie. several minutes) to go to a new page. The page isn't taking a long time to load, it's just taking a long time to connect.

I am finding the same thing. Links are slow and sometimes you need to click the link 3 or 4 times before it works. Log in is also not working at times. Sumbit reply is stalling also. Probably a few bugs need to be ironed out that's all!
