WLV for Dec

I would like to hear what everyone likes about WL for the Xmas season. We currently have it booked but have always stayed at BWV in DEC. I have stayed there before but not when the decs are up.

We are used to walking into 2 parks,the ent on the bw, being able to pop over to HS for lites or CP at Epcot. Will we like this as much?

VWL / Wilderness Lodge is our absolutely favorite resort!

There are so many great things about Wilderness Lodge - the proximity to the Magic Kingdom is of course the main attraction - it's just a boat ride away!
You can take a boat to board the Monorail for Epcot.

There is a fireplace in the lobby or both the Lodge, and the Villas.

We spent an entire afternoon just sitting in the rocking chairs in front of the fireplace in the Villas in the Carolwood Pacific Room.

If you love to relax at the resort, then VWL is fantastic!

If you like to spend your evenings at Epcot with easy access to your resort at the end of the night, then VWL might not be the best choice.

If you enjoy just spending time at the resort, and having several choices for dining close by - you will really enjoy your time there!

Stay there and you will know if it's worth staying there again. Each resort has much to offer and everyones taste is different.

We own at VWL and love the rustic, laid-back feel, and it's so quiet and relaxing........ but not the atmosphere everyone likes. The WL main lobby resembles a lodge at Yellowstone or one of the national parks. The huge fireplace, with big rocking chairs, is best enjoyed when it's a little cooler and can be appreciated the most. The Christmas tree at WL is spectacular.

The Villas lobby/living room don't have the space or impact of the main lobby at WL, but it's very cozy in front of the fireplace there, and both DH and I have napped in the big chairs in front of it.

It's so convenient to be near the MK if going to MVMCP.
