WL woods or courtyard room?

I am finally booking my WDW trip today..Yahoo..last decision to make is which type of room is better at WL, woods view or Courtyard..help me out guys..this is my last decision to make..

If money doesn't matter, then I would book the courtyard. I believe they don't call it woods view anymore, I think it's called Lodge view.

i just stayed at WL villas, so i'm not sure how much of a difference it makes, but we had a 1st floor woods view, which was great because the kids played on the lawn a lot. i think i'd still do a woods view, whether 1st floor or not - just more peaceful i think.

A courtyard view may overlook the villas and villa pool which is very quiet. Wonderful view that I would prefer over the woodsview anyday.

I am personally excited about our woods view because of the possibility of getting one of the room that overlooks the MK, monorail and seeing the fireworks. I have seen several room locations on the upper level woods view rooms that have those views that I would love to be able to get if we are lucky enough. . .we'll see.

We had a courtyard view room with a view of the creek, pool and bay lake. Loved It!

I would book the courtyard view if the extra cost is ok for you. I was told you were pretty much guaranteed a good view booking courtyard, but woods view may not actually be 'woods view'? Not sure what that meant, but I went with courtyard as I am sure we will be wanting to lounge on the balcony for a while each day! I have been given a list of rooms that you can see the fireworks and such. Hope this helps, but you never know until you get there as to what room you'll actually get! If you aren't going to be staying in the room much, maybe it would not matter to you!
