Still pondering.....

5 folks (me, hubby, DSs 2, 4, 5) booked for WL. However, I'm thinking WLV studio is the way to go. Is this just as nice as the WL? What are the views like? The other option is WL 2 connecting rooms (standard view)......

OR, perhaps I should do the contemporary....?

DH is going to kill me ;)

If you go with the studio at the WLV's you will have a small kitchenette with a micro-wave and a small frige and coffee maker. Which could be nice - however, if you can get 2 connecting rooms you will have 2 bathrooms which can be nicer and also you'd have the ability to put the kids to bed and you and dh would be able to still be awake if you wanted to watch TV or whatever without disturbing them, as you'd be in the next room.

The other thing to consider is that in the studio you'd have a queen bed and a pull-out sofa bed and the 2 yr old can go in a pak-n-play crib. With the 2 connecting rooms you'd have actual beds for everyone which IMHO is a little more comfy than the sofa-bed.

I guess it would depend to me how much more expense it would be for the 2 connecting rooms vs. the studio. But expense aside, I'd probably opt for the 2 connecting rooms for the 2 bathrooms and actual beds.;)

How about a one bedroom at VWL? It would be comparable in cost to two regular rooms at the main lodge. In the one bedroom you would have a hot tub (great for bubble baths for the kids) and a separate shower. The living room has a couch that lets out into a bed and the bedroom has a huge kingsize bed. You have two TVs (one in the living room and one in the bedroom) and also a VCR in the living room, not to mention a full kitchen. You also get a pack and play (I think that's what it's called) for the little one (DVC resorts have these in the closet).

The Villas are very quiet (a lot more quiet than the main lodge) but you are a short walk to the main lodge! By the way, the lobby at VWL is gorgeous and you are close to the health club.

I'd go to the Conteporary myself. With the young kids, the Contemporary is the place to be! The monorail can't be beat - the kids will love it! In addition, the Contemporary seems as if it is right in the Magic Kingdom - so close with a great view and magical concourse. The WL is nice too, but after staying in the Contemporary we felt like we were removed from the magic kingdom magic somewhat.

Can't go wrong with either - you'll enjoy yourself regardless - but the Contemporary makes you feel like you're in Disney 24X7.

I vote for WLV as well. We just stayed at the BCV in a 1BR unit and had plenty of room. There's a portable crib in the unit as well, so your youngest can hang out in that at night. If you can swing it, go for the 1br. The convenience of a kitchen and the ability to prepare simple meals is a HUGE plus in our book.

Have a great trip!!
