We have stayed at the Poly. Loved the beach area. I see the Wilderness Lodge also has a beach area. How is it the same? How is it different? From the pictures, the only differences I see is that 1) you can see the castle from the Poly, and not from WL. 2) WL has a little playground for the smaller kids. Any thoughts?

Hi,

The WL beach area is smaller than the Poly ( it has the walkway to the marina to its right and to the left is IIRC grass and rocks ( closer to the rocky outcrop with the geyser.)

There is also a screen for viewing the movies.

You can watch the boats head over to Ft Wilderness and can see a bit of Bay lake tower

Here are some pictures of the beach at WL.

Here is the view. The view isn't as magical as being able to see the castle, but still very pretty.

There is a small playground but it is blocked by the trees in the photo. It is the standard playground you see at most resorts.

Thanks for the info and for the pictures! The beach looks nice! I know I read the EWP passes by but are you able to watch wishes from this beach?

Hi,

You will only be able to see some of the high level fireworks from the WL beach ( unlike the wider view you would get from the Poly)
