wl vs bc vs bwv please help

our group consists of 6 adults and 2 toddlers we are going in mid dec and I am having a problem deciding where to stay it is between 2 rooms at wilderness lodge a 2 bedroom unit and boardwalk and 2 rooms at beach club any suggestions as to where to stay or any better suggestions we like being close to epcot but wildernesss lodge seems so neat any help or suggestions would be really appreciated since I am the sole planner of this trip and I dont want to screw it up

WL is just a quick boat ride (quick, as boat rides go, anyway) from MK. Everything else is a bus ride., which we don't really care for.

OTOH, the SAB pool at YC/BC/BCV is VERY cool.

I don't know if it is a quick boat ride...when we stayed last January I was less than pleased with the transporation at WL. Of course it was a cold January too! I hated sharing transportation w/ the campground! They pick you up to go to Mk and then they head to the campground and then MK..Then on the way back it seemed like they liked to mix it up a bit...sometimes to WL first sometimes not. Same thing for the buses....they pick you up and then off to the campground then the parks. I personally wasn't pleased w/ it...of course at the Epcot resorts I believe you share buses with for MK, AK and DTD....With 4 adults I'd stay at BC or BWI so much more appeals to the adults there...better eateries...can walk to MGM or EPCOT.. the boardwalk is fun too!

thanks for the info I am planning on staying at boardwalk I just heard that wl was decorated very nicely for christmas we have no problem walking to epcot or mgm I also thought we could walk to the monorail at epcot and take it back to the ticket center and them to mk or is the bus faster ? thanks again
