WL Villas

We will be going to WLV for the first time in May.

Are there any suggestions for room locations? We'll be in a Studio.

Are the first floors "overgrown" with foliage?

Any and all suggestions are welcome.

I'm so excited. We'll be down there for 8 nights. 2 nights in the Lodge itself (lack of points) and the rest in the Villas.

Has anyone else stayed both places? Is it easy to do, can I check in for both places when we arrived.

Do you think there would be any chance of them 'upgrading' us at check in to the Lodge to get into the Villas?

It is such a beautiful place, we've stayed in the Lodge before we became members.

It is such a beautiful place, we've stayed in the Lodge before we became members.

We've stayed both places and received an upgrade at WL for a garden view room. Woo hoo! We did not get an upgrade to a villa and I've never heard on these boards of that ever happening, so I would not expect it.

I imagine that you are on two separate reservations, thus you will check out of one room and then go to the front desk to check into the other room.

We usually request upper floor close to the elevators. Every time we have requested that we have gotten the same room and it is AWESOME. It is on a corner and overlooks not only the woods but the pool (from the side).
