We'll be staying at the WL in 10 days!!! I have some transportation questions:

1. Is there a bus that runs from WL to the TTC?

2. What time does the earliest bus run to the TTC?

3. What time does the earliest boat go to MK?

4. We have a PS for Cinderella @ 8:10 a.m. and not sure if we'll need to drive, take a bus to TTC or the boat to MK?

5. Best route to Epcot (bus to TTC/monorail OR bus to Epcot)?

6. Bus or car from WL to AK?

Sorry for all the questions. Thanks.

I'm going to tac on another question if you don't mind. I know I've seen this answered here before, but I can't find it again, so pardon my stupidity for re-asking (this time I'll actually write it down!!) What's the best way from WL to TL?? We're planning on spending a morining at TL and then leaving at lunch time. Are the buses still plentiful going back to WL at that time??

Yes. This is the *ONLY* Resort (aside from the campgrounds) that has a bus to the TTC.

The route starts up at 7:00, however, I beleive the first bus that will run back to the TTC might be around 7:15ish.

Depends on opening, however, boats usually run

Do not drive... You'll be parking further away than you are already. Take the bus to the TTC, and hop on board the Resort Monorail. That will take you to the MK. I'd catch the 7:30 TTC bus.

Personally, I'd go to the TTC and take the Monorail. Might take a bit longer, but it's more fun. Make sure to ask to ride up front. :) To get back to WL, take the bus.

The bus runs from WL to GF, then to Blizzard Beach, then to DAK. It's not as long of a ride as it sounds, but it's your call. At the end of a hot day, cool bus, or hot car. *shrug*

During morning hours, buses are routed WL -> FW -> TL -> DTD... Since FW is basically on the way over, it's not a long ride at all. Buses going BACK to WL start up once the routes are reversed. After 11:30ish buses are routed Marketplace -> PI -> TL -> WL... They run every 15 minutes.

(Note: If you need to leave prior to the switchover... you may need to board a DTD bus, and transfer at the Marketplace. Just ask a driver for assistance. You'll know it's before the switch over because all the buses will either say SPECIAL or DOWNTOWN DISNEY, and won't be picking up. Usually when a driver sees a guest, they'll radio it in... but flag them down just in case they don't see you)

Tyler - you are wonderful!! However, what about question 3 above - the question about the boats to MK - it appears that your answer was cut off. What time does the earliest boat go to MK? A: Depends on opening, however, boats usually run ...

Help!

That was really strange. *shrug*

At any rate, boats typically start up 45 mins prior to the park opening, including for Early Entry.

Since the MK boat doesn't start up early enough to get you to an 8:10 CRT PS (unless it is a MK EE day), here is what we usually do. The small boats that service the WL-Contemporary-Ft. Wilderness route start running at 7:45. We take this boat from the WL to the CR, and then walk to the MK from there. We aren't big bus fans, and this provides a short boat ride, a peek at the CR, and a pleasant 0 minute walk to the MK. Mention to the captain of the boat where you need to go and he may be able to make the CR the next stop, since this plan wouldn't work if you had to sit on the boat while it went to Ft. Wilderness.

It's only a 3 minute bus ride from WL to TTC... even non-bus fans should be able to tolerate that.

As for the walk from CR to MK... I'm guessing that was a typo, and you meant 10 minutes... Although, having walked it many times, Im thinking from the marina it might be more around 15.

Ooops! Yes, I meant 10 minutes. You are correct, from the dock you can add a couple of minutes. Regardless, going this route has gotten us to 8:15 PS's at CRT several times...................and yes, any bus ride is too long for us ;). To be honest, we really like the boats as they are just a tad more 'Magical' than a bus, at least for us.
