Hi everyone,

This is my first post here. Amazing amount of info! We are planning a trip Sept 16-Sep 23. This is our first time at the WL. Previously we stayed at the All Stars.

We have an 8:40 a.m at Bibbity Bobbity Boutique princess: in MK. Will there be enough time to get a boat from WL to MK which opens at 9am and not miss our appointment? Would the bus be better?

Thanks for your help,

Susan

the boat takes longer than the bus
take the bus

We found the boat to be the BEST transportation... when you take the bus.. you share it with Contemp and GF... its a pain really.

If you are worried about making it .. you could take the first boat to the Contemp that morning.. (which runs earlier then on to the monorail..)

just an idea.. have fun!

When I stayed at WL this past Feb. we didn't share the MK bus with anyone, has that changed?

Ask the WL front desk about your specific day when you get there. I think that it depends on the time of year, etc. We had an 8:20 am ADR at CRT, and we were told to take the bus an hour before our ADR.

I loved the boat, but I don't think that they run as early as the bus.

:welcome: to the DIS!

I'm staying at WL for the first time in Oct and am interested in how the transportation works as well.

Welcome :disrocks:

We had good luck with transportation. We never waited more than 5-10 minutes for a bus to any park. The bus ride to MK is about 5 minutes, very convenient. We also liked the boat ride, but found it took longer, about 15 minutes.

You will love the WL, it's gorgeous. I have nothing but great things to say about this resort. Have a great vacation!

The WL/MK boats don't start running until around 30-40 minutes before the park opens. A more sure fire-way is to take the smaller launch boats to the CR and then walk to MK or hope the Monorail from the CR. The launch boats start running a whole lot earlier than the MK boats.

We stayed at WL last Christmas after a 3 night stay at All Star Movies. The bus transportation was so much better at WL. The buses were not as crowded at WL as they were at All Star Movies.

As far as which is quicker, my guess would be the bus. We loved taking the boat, though.

I would ask guest services once you get there. :goodvibes

Definitely do not take the boat. It won't start running until 8:20 or so, and it's a 20 minute ride to the MK. Do the bus or drive if you'll have a rental.
