WL transportation to MK?

I've heard that the transportation from WL to MK by boat is sometimes crowded. What about this? We're staying in the Villas and so the bus stop is alot closer. And buses to MGM and Epcot stop at the Polynesian and GF. Has anyone ever taken the bus, gotten off at the Poly, then taken the monorail over from there? I'm thinking of 2 possible advantages-first, the bus stop is so much closer to the Villas than the boat; second, you have your choice of 2 buses and just take whichever shows up first. How does this sound?

Yes, you could get off at the Poly and take their boat to MK or catch the Resort monorail there. Or take the short walk to TTC and take the Express monorail over.

Or the Crockett bus will take you to the TTC, and you could switch to the monorail.

You have lots of options here.

The buses from the WL to AK and MGM stop at the Poly and GF. The EPCOT bus goes directly to EPCOT with no stops. We always stay at WL in the off-season so our experience may not apply to a busier time, but the boat has had room for us each time we have taken it.

The other options listed are also good.
