O.K. I've stayed here twice and if I switch from BWV, it will be my third time. But Of course, I have a few questions. On a Suprise Early Morning day, does the boat start running early to get you to MK by 8:00? Also, if you have an early PS at MK before opening time, is there a character breakfast bus to get you to MK, or do you have to go via the TTC?

I don't beleive the boats run early for the Early Mornings... however, I could be mistaken.

The TTC bus and Monorail start at 7:00am daily.

We were there a few weeks ago. Yes the boats run early enough for EE. I think it was 7:30. I don't know anything about the buses for the other parks, we used a rental.

We were there at VWl 2 weeks ago and had a PS at Contemporary at 8am so we got to boat launch at 7:45 and a boat was leaving headed to FW and MK right as we walked up. That was a Sun morn but I dont know if it was EE day there or not.

The boats for early entry were great but the busses to everywhere else, particularly DTD, were awful.

What mos. did you go?

We went Dec 11-16 and found the bus transportation to be very good. Probably the most annoying thing was having to go to other resorts (FW, GF, POLY) to make pickups. We only experienced 1 long wait to get to MGM, maybe 20 mins, we were told the other bus just pulled out before we got there so thats just timing.

We have stayed at All Star Sports twice and they have good rep for having quick bus service, we found transportation to be close to same timing at WL as All Star, except for boat to MK which was excellent.

A little trick, if TTC bus is there before Epcot bus, go to TTC and catch monorail to Epcot. This will avoid lots of stops at other resorts along the way

Good luck, have fun, and remember, dont sweat the small stuff, like waiting a few minutes for a bus, your in WDW, so relax(yeah right) and ENJOY!!

I was there 11/6-11/12 I will never go without a rental car again. I am a disney comando that doesn't like to stop and waiting 20 minutes for a bus is out of the question for me. I don't mind waiting in ride lines but bus lines? Now way Jose

Thanks for the reply.
You are definitely right about bus to DD. I think it is a long wait from any resort. We joined DVC this year so its a little easy for me to say slow down and enjoy, this past trip was our first non-commando trip but I understand where your coming from about waiting for busses. Im approaching 40 quickly so slowing down doesnt seem so bad to me anymore.
Hopefully no more commando trips for me!

Having just returned from WDW during one of their busiest times, I can tell you we never waited longer than 10 minutes for any transportation...bus or boat. A vast majority of the time, there was a bus sitting at our stop when we walked up and we had no wait time at all. Even including stopping at other resorts, I couldn't have gotten to the parks any quicker had I used my own car. This includes trips to and from Downtown Disney as well as MK, Epcot and MGM Studios. I couldn't have asked for better!
