WL toMK for 815 CRT???

First time at WL and I would like to get to MK by 745. Are the boats running? What time to they start? Do they go directly to MK or stop at the other resorts?

You can take the bus to the Transportation & Ticket Center, and then take the Monorail. Both start running at 7:00am.

Not sure about the boats.

This is what we did last year.

We took the little boat over to CR, then took the monorail from there. It was abt 40 minutes door to door (including getting into MK). You could also walk from CR.

I don't think the boats to CR start running until 7:45 (it may be as early as 7:30, but I really think they start at 7:45). This won't give you enough time to get to the MK by 8:15 (well, that's too risky for me to try it!). We always took the bus to the TTC and then the monorail to get there for our 8:00 PS's.

The WL/CR/FW boat runs 7am - 10 pm.

Kimberely could you just take the big boat to MK? How long does that take? We do have a rental car can we drive to the TTC or will they not let us in at 7 in the AM? The thought of a transfer makes me nervous. We transferred monorails from the GF to Epcot and it took over an hour by the time we were done. We had REALY bad timing.

The walk from the Contemporary is very short and nice. You end up at the Main entrance to the Magic Kingdom, right where you would get off the monorail. That way, once you are on the boat from WL to Contemporary, the rest of the trip is at your own pace. I do remember sitting in a monorail at the Poly waiting for 25 minutes to move to the next stop.
If I were on a time schedule, I would like to have as much control of my fate as possible.
