WL to FW

There is a walking/jogging path through the woods between the two. I am not exactly sure how far, but I think a little over a mile. We have not went all the way, but we have seen rabbits, deer and raccoons not far from the lodge.:thumbsup2

Yes - it is a wonderful walk - should take about 20 mins at a leisurely pace. We've seen turkeys, rabbits, deer, and chip n dale.

If you can walk from the front of MK to Splash Mountain without stopping or huffing and puffing, you can walk from WL to FW. Start at the WL bus stop and walk down the sidewalk(away from the lodge). This will cross a road the busses use and turn into the asphalt path to FW. The path runs alongside the bus road. The path will drop you at the petting zoo. Just beyond will be the Trails End and Pioneer Hall.

The trail is about a mile. No lights, so don't walk at night.;) You can also rent bikes and bike it.

And of course you can take the blue-flagged boat back, like we did. ;)

Thanks everyone. I'm a nuture nut too so I would love to take the walk. My husband the city guy likes to get places as quick as possible. Maybe we can compromise with a walk there and a boat back???? :goodvibes
