Does anyone know the easiest way to get from WL to Boardwalk? Also, how far of a walk is it to Fantasia Gardens mini golf from Boardwalk? Is there any easy way home from FG to WL? :wave2:

I think you could take the boat to MK and take a bus to the Boardwalk. You could also take the MGM bus from WL and then walk. Fantasia Gardens is closer to Swan/Dolphin but not too far of a walk from Boardwalk from what I can remember.

Boat to MK, then bus to BW. Bus to MGM, then boat to BW. These are not always the fastest ways, but have the least amout of walking.

I think the bus from WL to MK is much faster than the boat, and once you get off the WL bus, you'll be at the bus stop already, instead of having to walk from the boat dock. I would think the bus is much faster too.

From there, I'd hop on a bus to the Swan. This will drop you off at the front of the Swan. From there you walk out the Swan and go across the street. If you aren't sure - just step inside the lobby of the Swan. If it was mid-day, and a bus for the Boardwalk was there instead, I'd consider that, but the walk will be longer. Mid-day waits for buses can be 30 minutes. From the Boardwalk - walk directly to the Swan, it will take about 15 minutes to get to the front of the Swan, assuming you walk in the correct direction.

Of course you could also take a taxi...

You could also take the MGM bus from WL, then then the boat to the Swan, but I think the first would generally be faster. Having stayed at the Swan numerous times, there is not a good way to get from MGM to Fantasia Gardens - there is no cut through. Walking to the SWan would take about 15 minutes from MGM.

Well, two busses with a connection could take some time. You could arrive at MK from WL only to have just missed the bus from MK to the Epcot resorts. Wherease, taking the bus directly from WL to D-MGM doesn't require a connection -- you can just walk from D-MGM to the Epcot resort, and it would probably take no longer than the average wait for a connection at the park, and the bus ride from the park to the Epcot resorts.

I vote for the bus to MGM and then a nice ferry ride over to Boardwalk. Just don't make the stupid newbie mistake I did, buying into that Disney party line about taking the bus to DTD and then waiting for the Boardwalk bus from there!!!! ^&%$^#()@#$ !!!!!!!!!!! Took FOREVER!!!!!!! Only bad moments in the trip, though. :) And once we got to Boardwalk and Flying Fish, it was worth it. But that was the end of me using DTD as a stopover point!

:cool1: From MK, take the BW bus, which also stops at the Swan. Fantasia is just across the street from the Swan. There is no bus to BW from MGM, only a boat, but the first stop on the boat is the Swan and Dolphin hotels. pirate:
