DGD Emily, the Zoologist Wanna be.
Fred & I shake hands and have a real neat conversation. He offers to take me up to his room. Now this is Majestics story to tell, so I will not be giving much detail. Just so you have it perspective, it is not a room, it is not a suite, it IS a house. He shows me around and we are laughing like two school girls. He then shows me what he has on his lap top. Again this is Majestics part of the story. All I can say is WOW. He thinks it will take our thread to 150, I say at least 200. I also told him it would take a stick of dynamite to get me out of there. LOL
I also want to make the understanding if I am in an alley fight, Fred is on my team. LOL I had a very good enjoyable time with him, wish it was MUCH longer. He and I seem alike and we could do a park together and have a blast. He gives me a tour of the concierge area and I shoot a couple of pictures of the lobby. We munch a cookie from the snack table and head down. We visit some more at my table and he is off to enjoy his last day with the family. May our fortunes pass again some day.
We spent the rest of the day just resting and pooling. As we noticed the afternoon crowd was coming in off the boats, we moved over to the Villas pool. Got the Majestic/FloridaCat table, DGD was kind enough to run back to the room and fill the cooler for me. So for 4 hours it was take a dip and listen to the lobby music.
At somewhere around 3:30 we got one of our famous afternoon storms and that closed the pool. No matter as it was time to shower for dinner and get to one of our local favorites. Angels is on 192 in the Holiday Inn. They have all you can eat seafood from 4:00 to 6:00 PM for 20.00 a head, plus tax & drink. They also have prime rib, but we enjoy making a Claim Bake plate of Garlic Mussels, Corn on the Cob, half shell Oysters, Claims, Lobster, Crab Legs. A large Desert bar and a soft Ice Cream bar as well. Have to be there around 4:00 to 4:30 as it gets to be a big crowd. Its not Gourmet, but it is good. FYI: They will only give you one Lobster per trip, so have the non Lobster eaters take one.
It is 3 or 4 miles from the Lodge, just follow the signs to 192, upon entering onto 192, get as far left ASAP as you make a left turn into Holiday Inn.
When we return to the Lodge DGD and her friend decide they want to go back to the Campfire as Beauty and the Beast is playing that night. DD & I just enjoy relaxing out on the back deck of the Lodge. DD notices it is 5 till nine, so we jump on the elevator to the 5th floor, walk over to the north wing to watch the MK fireworks. A Security Guard comes along and pulls the shutters open for us and the three of us enjoy the sight.
We then headed down to the dock for the EWP. As we are waiting we meet some nice people from our home town back in Illinois, SMWII. They have a little DS and it is their first time to WDW and had a lot of questions on things to see and do. So when we got back to the Lodge we filled our mugs and DD rounded up some park maps and a pen. We sat at the tables outside the RF and laid out an itinerary for them. DD also made notes for them on the locals dos and donts. The Mrs. and DDs traded address and they promised to stay in touch. They were so excited and could not wait to tell their friends back home they had their own private tour guides. LOL
Well one more drink and off to bed. Tomorrow we check out and head to AK
