I have a couple of question for all you WL veterans.

1) Is the food through room service any good?

2)Do you tip 15-20% when they already add in according to Deb's site:
(18% service charge, sales tax and $3.00 delivery charge
will be added to the total order)
Is this service charge for the person who bought you the food or what? We are going for our 25th anniversary and sometimes we just won't feel like going down to eat.;)

Thanks for your help. Kim

We haven't stayed at WL so I can't comment on the food but we have had room service at AKL and we always tipped the delivery person..... normally a few bucks. I don't want to take the chance that the delivery person doesn't get that 18%.

We had pizza through room service on our first night--it was convenient and the pizza was good. It was set up very nicely on our table--I tipped the server a few dollars.

I thought that the 18% they tack on plus the $3 delivery charge would cover everything, no tip required at the door.

Is this wrong?

We got room service at the WL and make complete pigs of ourselves! LOL

We were too tired to go anywhere ... it was expensive, but worth it.

We had pizza & fried chicken. I think the chicken came with sides like rolls and potato salad. It was all REALLY good. I also got that big berry dessert from Artist Point with ice cream ... it was huge .. I couldn't even eat 1/2.

We thought it was one of the best meals we had. We still talk about "Miss Jenny's" room service! Nothing fancy, but tasty!

The 18% goes to the person bringing you the food, the $3 delivery charge does not. The 18% goes on their pay check, they do not walk home with that cash each night. We've always added a few dollars in cash for the convience.

Thank all of you for your help. We are not the types to do very much room service and didn't know how this worked. I am also glad to hear Miss Jenny's is pretty good. Thanks again, Kim
