WL-Room service vs. Roaring Forks $

I've put more planning time into this trip.....

Anyway staying at WL. On EMH mornings I'm trying to get the family to the first bus in the morning. Is it easier to have room service brought to the room and pay more or is it just as easy to run down to Roaring Forks and have them snack at the bus stop/or back in the room, thus save some money I would think.

I think a good plan would be to get some food at Roaring Fork to take back to your room, thereby saving time *and* money!! It's all good. lol!

We're going to do that a few mornings. I reckon it will save a lot of time because (with 5 of us) it's going to take a long time for everyone to get showered and dressed each morning so, if we eat in the room, 2 can be getting ready while the other 3 eat and vice-versa, instead of waiting for *everyone* to get themselves ready . Also, we're going to get some groceries incl. cereal and milk and eat that in our room some mornings to save a bit of money and then supplement that with the takeaway stuff from Roaring Fork.

We'll be there in June/July.

I would opt for Roaring Forks. I think that room service is nice if you want a relaxing treat. For my money, it costs too much to be in a hurry to get to the parks.

Someone from my room would go down to Roaring Forks for tea and bring it back to the room. And we would enjoy cereal, pop tarts or a treat for breakfast. Then, quick as a flash, we would be off.

Oh yes, except for when the otters in the pond on the north side of WL surfaced and NO ONE would move off the balcony. The show right outside our room was too good to miss!

I LOVE the WL. It is my family's favorite resort.

You all confirmed my thoughts. Room service is too pricey to run out the door. So I guess that makes the Roarin Forks runner on those mornings.

Who am I kidding. If do this once the wife will think it is a great idea and she will make me do it every morning, regardless of how early we go
