I am curious as to what the difference is between a WL standard room and WL woods view. I was looking at room rates, and there are three types: Standard, woods view, and courtyard. I've stayed here 6 times, and always get a woods view room. I know the difference between woods/courtyard, but what is a standard room? It appears to have the cheapest rate, but what accomidations do you receive, and what is the location?

We stayed in Woods view and had just that...a view of the woods. It was on the MK side, so we could see the castle thru the trees-with a little manuevering-- and see the fireworks at night.

We stayed in a standard view and had a view of the roof...BUT, our room opened to the lobby and had 2 rocking chairs right outside our door.

We spent more time in the rocking chairs people watching, than we did on the balcony. The kids did their homework sitting outside the room(it was Spetmeber and we took them out of school)

I forgot to say--other than the view--the rooms were exactly the same.:D

We had a standard view room in a April with a view of Cinderella's castle, Space Mountain, Main Street Station, the Contemporary, the Monorail, the Polynesian, the fireworks, etc. You get the idea. I wish that was the "Standard" view of all the resorts. It is cheaper because the loading/unloading area for service vehicles is on that side of the building if you look straight down. We were there for seven nights and didn't even notice it. Some people claim to hear delivery trucks at 2am but we never heard a peep. We felt like we were getting away something because we really had a "premium" view.
