WL resort information

Guys I don't know. They just replied that perhaps from Italy I can only make payments by telephone and therefore I also assume changes to the reservation. I thought I could manage the prenoface online and also modify it

The easiest way to handle your mom's ticket is to wait until you enter the first park. They will hand your mom a plastic ticket to use instead of your phone. You can do the same for the room access. Ask for a key card at the front desk when you check in. The other way to handle it is to have her download the MDE app to her smartphone. You can either give her your password and access to your account, or she can create her own MDE account which you can connect to so she can access her ticket and resort room using her account on her smartphone.

I don't have a suggestion for making payments, since we always book room only and don't need to make payments ahead of time.
Wouldn’t the easiest way to handle the ticket be to get MagicBands for everyone? Then run her ticket through your phone but all of the park entrances, room keys, lightning lanes, and even paying is done from the band.

That’s how my mom deals with our family’s tickets and Genie+ reservations.

Sorry guys, I'm slowly trying to understand the situation, I think my booking was made through Disney Travel Company (Disney Holydais) in the confirmation email that I received immediately there is also the reference to the manage booking page where I can make payments online even if this link isn't there on My Disney Experience and in the Disney chat they told me to call every time for payments, I think I can make them online from that link. But how is booking with Disney travel company? What is your opinion? Will I still be able to cancel and get a refund? Will I still be able to change the booking if necessary? Are payments secure? Please reassure me

@MaxDrake79
Why can’t you just talk to them on the phone, I’m sure they can answer all of your questions?
The problem is calling them every time could cost me a lot and I'm calling from Italy, furthermore for me it would be better to speak in Italian. I have many questions and among these is the fact that the payment status does not appear on My Disney Experience because the "Manage my booking" section is missing. I would just like to understand if I can be at peace with Disney Travel Company

The Disney Travel Company is different from WDW itself. It's a European subsidiary of Disney for selling travel. Ultimately you booked through a travel agency and therefore some of the things that work for Americans might not work for you. I tried to explain this in an earlier post.

About calling: Get Skype as an app for your phone and put a small amount of money (like 3$) on your account. Then you can call any international number for nearly free. I also think the number 00 800 2006 0809 they have on their website is an international free phone number.

Thanks very mych thanks Thank you, I think I'll try to call that number and I think it's free too because I think that's what it says. The problem with the booking is that connecting to the official website of walt disney world sent me back to disney travel company, probably I didn't notice it but in the end I think there is no problem. The only thing for me is to figure out if I can make online payments with them in a quiet way and if walt disney world is able to control payments because I don't want to

So I'll give you an update, I spoke to Disney Travel Company in English because no Italian but I just got by, basically they confirmed that I can make online payments, they sent me the link again, I can't do it from My Disney Experience but from this link to manage my booking apparently yes, I am left wondering why at Walt Disney World Chat they told me to call them every time for payments, I hope that if I do it online with Disney Travel Company at WDW they can see the status of payments in real time. What do you tell me?

Since your post asks about WL make a new one asking about payments from abroad. You may get better responses.

I have to call for payments. I book “room only” , Disney doesn’t have the option online. I almost always just pay the balance when I arrive. Doesn’t really help you I was just letting you know it frrustrates me too.

Good luck getting your answers:flower1:

There are a couple of reasons why MagicBands would not necessarily be a better option than just getting a ticket card and a room key card. MagicBands are no longer free. And since the original poster is coming from Italy, any bands they ordered would have to be sent to the resort for pickup at check in. My sister-in-law used cards for both her ticket and room key and it was very easy for her to do that. :)

Or just buy MagicBands once they are there and have someone at Disney help get them set up. Given how much a 9 day trip will cost, another $30 for a MB won’t really make that much of a difference one way or another. Whenever we have gone to DL in the past, the lack of MB has always been annoying. Everything is just a little easier with them, at least for my family. If the OP’s mom speaks limited English, I would do my best to simplify where possible.

@MaxDrake79 - one other thought about English/Italian…if you (or your mom) get stuck and need help while at the parks and are concerned about your English, another possibility would be go to go the “Italy” section at Epcot. Many of the CMs there are Italian, and should be able to help.

Guys, question about WL pools, can you also use the other pool? I guess so, I read that it is part of the DVC area but I guess it is accessible to all guests of the resort. Another thing, what are the restaurants not to be missed at the WL, with table service in particular.

Yes, you can use either of the 2 pools at the WL. However you cannot use other resort pools. Geyser Point (outdoor bar) is great. There is Artist's Point that does a character dinner with Snow White, it's good but expensive.
