WL questions

I was wondering if anyone could tell me if there is a walking path from WL to Ft Wilderness campfire thing?? Also, is the Contemporary within walking distance form WL. If not do they have a separate bus or boat that takes you there. I want to have PS at Chef Mickeys at 8 am but was wondering if I can make it on time as we will not have a car. Thanks for any help.

Hi LuvsEeyore!

You will love the Wilderness Lodge. Yes, there is a walking path to Ft. Wilderness from the Lodge. Also, there is a direct boat to the Contemporary Resort that begins running around 7:00 or 7:30 am. We love this convenience and enjoy going to breakfast at the Monorail resorts before the parks open.

Just remember, the walking path isn't lit (unless things have changed recently) for after the campfire. Isn't it dark?

Our teenaged kids took the boat to Fort Wilderness from the WL- it was an easy trip and they loved going over in the evenings to watch the movies!
