WL question

Is there wilderness lodge comparable to the other deluxe resorts.
There is a big price differnece so i was just wondering if its just as good as the rest of the deluxe resorts?

WL, like AKL, is not on the monorail and is not next to MGM/Epcot. I think that makes them slightly less desirable to *some* people and -- if my college Econ professor was right -- lower demand means cheaper prices.

So you will find good rates on std AKL rooms and many types of WL rooms. The resorts themselves are definitely deluxes. A friend prefers WL for this reason, you can really find discounted rates for WL sometimes, not much more than a moderate.

We have stayed at WL several times and find that it is wonderful!! We have also stayed at AKL and these are, by far, our two favorite resorts. I love having the boat launch to MK from WL. It feels very secluded and relaxing. We just love the atmosphere there.

I love the Wilderness Lodge and have stayed there many times. In comparing it to other deluxes (I've also stayed at Poly, AKL and CR) the main difference I noticed was that the rooms were slightly smaller and lacked a day bed (this is also true of AKL).

WL rooms come with the same options as most deluxes, balconies/patios, interior corridors, child care centers and full room service. I am guessing that the price difference may be related to location - though I thought bus transportation was fine and the water launch to the Magic Kingdom was excellent.
