WL Pre-Thanksgiving Week ??s

I'm planning a week long trip for the week prior to Thanksgiving '08. For those who stayed at Wilderness Lodge during this period in '07 I have two questions.

Were the Christmas decorations up? and

How was the crowd levels at the hotel (especially the little ones)? I'm trying to avoid their presence at the hotel as much as possible.
