WL or POR w/ BC?

I thought my mind was made up, but the Poly vs. WL thread reminded me how thin the walls are & how small the rooms are @ WL. Now I can't decide whether to stay @ POR or WL in Dec. in conjunction with my 3 nts. @ BC. The price difference is $188. We love both resorts, but I'm a light sleeper & I remember hearing our neighbor's exact conversations during our last WL stay - is this common? I do prefer the food court @ POR over Roaring Forks, but love the hot tubs @ WL - HELP!!!

I've never had a problem with noise at WL. Plus you can't beat the theming at WL.

How odd we never heard anything from our room at WL (other than WCC noise had a door facing the lobby).

We loved everything about this resort and our having a difficult time with the thought of staying somewhere else on our next trip.

One suggestion is if quiet is a big issue then ask for a wing room with a woods view so you are away from the lobby and the pool.

Maybe they were just loud? However, several other people posted on another thread about "thin walls" @ WL, so I'm a bit concerned... Anyone think I should go with POR?

Guess we're just crazy about the Lodge! The December decorations can't be beat. Never had a problem with the noise. Have fun whatever you decide!

Ya'll are going to think I'm crazy ,but I just switched from the BC to POR , with my last 4 nts. @ WL! I love BC, but I also love POR & knew we'd be in the parks the majority of our first 3 days... Also, my dad had a stroke during our last stay @ the BC, & I associate the 2. Eventually I'll get over that... I saved $351 - more money for last minute Christmas shopping while we're there!
