Hi!! Trying to decide which one. We are staying at Marriott Grande Vista for 5 or 6 nights and then to WDW airfare is much less expensive to come home on Tuesday then on a Sunday.

Prices for Wildnerness Lodge Woods View is $585.00 standard is sold out
Polynesian Standard View is $685.00
Contemporary is sold out...

We have reservations at Ohana's & Chef Mickey's

Kids are 17 girl, boy 13
We last stayed at POR & the kids liked being able to go to the Food Court by themselves as we had a preferred room. Poly looks so spread out...
Not sure which one!! Help...
thanks!
Remember this is just relaxing no parks!!

I like WL. Especially if you are hanging at the resort.. No hot tub at poly and that is a must for me at night

I would go with the poly it's not a long walk to capt cooks food court which is open 24 hours. You are on the monorail system so you can visit the other resorts if you get bored. The poly is a relaxing resort my favorite resorts.

We've stayed at both and while we do love the WL, the Poly is our favorite and that would be my choice. We love the atmosphere at the WL, but the tropical atmosphere at the Poly is just so relaxing and you can't beat having the beach for watching the fireworks and having a distant view of the castle while swimming. As far as size, the Poly, IMO, is not as spread out as it seems and it does not take long to get around the resort. Plus the Poly rooms are quite a bit larger than the rooms at the WL and all rooms come with a daybed, which I think is nice with 2 kids. With that said, you really can't go wrong with either resort as they are both great. Good luck.

I'am also very partial to the tropical theme of Poly. Plus, since you have an ADR at Ohana, that's very convenient and you can easily hop on the monorial to CR for your Chef Mickey ADR as well.

That Tuesday vs Sunday airfare must be crazy if you are saving money by spending $1200 - $1400 for the hotel only for 2 extra days.

With the age of your kids I would choose the Poly so they can each have their own sleeping spaces.

The airfare is crazy yes it is!!

For us to come home on Monday or Sunday it is $171.00 per person & I paid $100.00 per person each way with a $25.00 per person off a round trip.

So I am still waiting for air to drop on our Monday going out and it hasn't as our friends have the time share Sunday to Sunday & they used their SWA credit card.

thanks for the all input still debating!!

Poly would give you more space and a day bed, WL the kids could have bunk beds. I would have a hard time at poly being able to see MK and not go ::yes::

Does it have to be just between those two? What about BC or BW? Great resorts and BC has a great pool!

Given the price difference is only $100 per night, I'd go with the Poly. The rooms are much bigger and much more comfortable for four than the tiny rooms at WL. Plus, from the Poly, it will be very easy to get to 'Ohana and Chef Mickey's.

I choose those 2 resorts as the CR was sold out & those are our restaurant choices. My son thought Boardwalk was to fancy for him and we have stayed at Beach Club

Thanks again!!
