I am going to Disney in December and can either stay at a wood view at WL, studio in OKW, or water view at CSR. I have 2 children - ages 10 and 5. Any suggestions for best value for the money and best pool for children (if they can swim in December)?

Thanks so much. I am new to this site and this is my first post!

The WL is decked out quite nicely for the holidays in December. It's worth a stay just to see all of that. As far as pools go, I'm not a pool person ( water is water ) and I don't see much difference between the OKW or WL pools. Never been to CSR so I can't comment on that one.

Good luck and have a great trip!

First things first WELCOME to the DIS

I love OKW, have never stayed at CSR, but my vote would also be Wilderness Lodge Your children will love the Lodge and the pool...it is smaller than the one at CSR but in December they will want to have a closer walk (run) back up the slide.

At those ages, I doubt you'd benefit from proximity because you wont be hopping back to the resort much.

Throw out to moderate consideration. No need to consider it when youre looking at Wl or OKW.

Why are you considering these resorts? OKW will give you a nice quiet break and a kitchenette. WL will give you more transportation options and bunk beds. If the kitchentte is the draw to OKW, well then why not compromise and get a studio at the WL villas?
