WL or AKL?

Hi All,

I am torn between AKL savanah view and WL. Have stayed at AKL and loved it. Should we try something new? Not considering price differences at the moment. Thanks for any input.

PS: It's just me and my fiance, we're 21-years old.

I think you should be adventurous and try WL. You will not be dissappointed. We stay there every chance we get. While AKL is very beautiful, WL has it's own personality equally as unique and beautiful. You'll just love Artist Point, and the property has a romantic atmosphere.

We absolutely love the WL and I have a hard time trying to get hubby to even discuss the possibility of trying elsewhere.LOL.

That's a hard choice.

We returned from 3 nights at AKL Concierge 3 weeks ago and had a wonderful time including going on Sunrise Safari at AK - magic including the breakfast

But...... as DVC members we have also spent time at WL.

If you haven't yet stayed there go. Then you can spend the time until your next visit debating which was best.

I say go for the WL. It is a great place. We are planning a trip in July with friends and they hinted about the AKL. It was a great relief when they said they would like to try WL. I am sure we will eventually try AKL but every chance I get, I go WL.

I think you should definetly try WL!! My fiancee and I stayed there and had a blast--it is a really beautiful resort and we loved the boat to MK and viewing the Electric Water Pageant. The on-site recreation was a big plus for us--we rented boats all of the time, biked around to Fort Wilderness, hung out on the little beach, etc. We're 22 (about the same age as you) and were very comfortable there. I have the opposite situation as you--we did WL already and now we are going to try AKL this summer. I would love to go back to WL, but I really want to try different resorts before I repeat any. Let us know what you decide, and I'd be happy to answer any WL questions!!

Thank you for all of your opinions. I'm leaning towards WL but my fiance says that nothing can be worth more than having an entire savannah of animals out our window. We'll decide eventually. Thanks again!!!

Is splitting your stay an option? I know many people do that when they cannot decide between resorts. Just a thought!
