WL or AKL for 3nights?

We are thinking on extending our upcoming trip, we already have the Hilton DD through Priceline for 7 nights, but, were thinking on extending our trip for 3 days and staying onsite. We've narrowed it down to AKL or WL. There is my dh, my ds 4-1/2 and my other ds 1-1/2.

What do you all think??? I need help!!!!

I like both, but after staying at AKL recently.....my heart (and vote) must be for AKL! My son LOVED seeing the animals from the balcony.

I have stayed at both the WL (in Dec. '00) and the AKL (in Dec. '01), and my vote is definitely the AKL. I felt the theming was much more impressive, and the newness of the resort really shows in small details. I know it's nothing big, but the vanity area at the AKL had a little shelf to put your toiletries on. The bathtub also had extra wide sides so there was room for your shampoo. I also loved being able to see animals from my balcony--it was such a cool experience even though I am not typically an "animal person." The buffet restaurant Boma at the AKL had delicious food. We had dinner there one night, and I am so glad I tried it. Plus, the AKL feels very serene and relaxed. Enjoy your trip whichever resort you choose!

My vote is for AKL! Although I've never stayed at WL. My two sons really enjoyed watching the animals from our balcony. I enjoyed having a cup of coffee early in the morning on the balcony. AKL is stunning!

Another vote for the AKL. We just stayed there in January and it was wonderful. There is just something SO special and beautiful about it. We have stayed in WL also and our whole family agrees that AKL was one of the best experiences we've had. The food is amazing. We ate in all 3 establishments and loved them all. The pool is wonderful....zero depth entry so I didn't have to worry about my 16 month old son "falling in". There was a slide a nice playground....The Lodge itself was gorgeous!!!!! Go with the AKL....you won't be disappointed.

My favorite resort is WL. But, I would stay at AKL. Seeing the animals is so amazing. Your kids will love it!

The theming is so cool! You will not be disappointed!
