Hi,
Going with 3 yr old and BF in Sept.. anticipating WL visit..going for 8 days...safe to say that we can do things at and near the resort a few days in between park days?

You will love WL! I just got back from our first stay there. We took one day off completely from the parks. This was my first time doing this and will do it from now on, when possible, because it just made it so much more relaxing and gave us such a better feel for the resort. Between the pool and walking around the grounds, checking out the Lobby and special "nooks" around the place, plus the boats for rent...you will have LOTS to do besides parks. You can take the boat directly to the Contemporary and have breakfast or dinner with the characters at Chef Mickey's or just check out the shops. You can hop the monorail from the Contemporary and resort-hop to the Polynesian and Grand Floridian for shopping, exploring and/or dining. You will love it! Have fun!

Sorry, I don't understand your question...do you need information as to other activities to do while staying at Wilderness Lodge?

There are many things to do at the Lodge as will as Ft. Wilderness Campground which is very close to WL.

What activities are available at WL for children?
On select days Wilderness lodge has programs for children: Duck Races on Upper Silver Creek, Pool Games, Fireside Storytelling, (Meet in your pajamas at the Mercantile Fireplace) Beach Games, Penny Toss & Duck Rings.
Daily Activities: Open Crafts and Games in Cub's Den (free)
Children must be accompanied by an adult.
*For good rainy day activities, ask for a Kid's activity/coloring book at the bell station or a list of Hidden Mickeys at Guest services. You can also get a list of the resort's music at the Mercantile shop.
