We are considering what may be our last visit off season for some time in Dec. We love WL and I'm sure the other resorts are great we just feel like we are on vacation when we stay there. Our DD's are growing up and the rooms at WL are getting small for us. I know there are some suites but I have never seen them. Should we look into the suites or would connecting room make more sense? Cost is somewhat of a factor in our decision but not the only. All you WL veterans out please give me some ideas. Thanks::MickeyMo

Hi,
The deluxe room prices:
value $390
regular $435
peak $495
holiday $540
all per night, room only

I believe these rooms are rarely discounted. So, you might do better getting 2 connecting rooms w/ a discount code.

The deluxe rooms to look nice. There is a picture of the floor plan on the WDW site.

Another option would be to rent some DVC points for the Villas at WL. A 1 BR unit is about twice the size of a standard room, plus you get a full kitchen and washer and dryer. Before Dec 23, the effective cost (assuming the usual $10/pt) is $240 a night for Sunday - Thursday nights and $470 a night for Friday - Saturday night. If you stay for 7 nights it averages out to $305 a night, plus there's no 11.5% hotel room tax to add to that figure either like you do when you stay in the main lodge.

Definitely do 2 connecting rooms! It is cheaper and the DDs can have their own bathroom!;)
