I am going to WL in 22 days and am so confused about room requests.
I have a standard view and am traveling with 2 kids, 6 & 9. and Dh, my third child.
Anyway... I was going to request bunkbeds but read it is dark and cant see TV from them...
are bunkbeds even an option for a standard view?
What type of room should i request? area or near elevator?
Help please!!!

We were just there in June and had a Woodsview w/bunks.

I didn't think the room was dark at all. We were in room 5083 above the Main Lobby.

The kids really enjoyed having bunks DD (13) DS (10) . . .

We really enjoyed the WL it is a beautiful resort. Have a GREAT trip!

I would definitely request the bunk beds. My kids had no problem seeing TV and the lighting was fine. My girls aren't used to sleeping in the same bed and if we are on a trip and they have to share a bed it takes forever to get them to sleep and ends up with the "she's kicking me" whining thing happening. Go with the bunk beds and you won't be sorry.

We were there the last week of June in room 5082. We had booked a standard view, but received an upgrade to woods view.

I also didn't find the room dark at all, there are several lights that can be turned on. The kids (DS 9 and DD 5) loved the bunks as they are usually miserable having to share a bed in hotels. Their only complaint was that the TV couldn't be seen from the bottom bunk, but we weren't there much for TV watching anyway.

We LOVED the WL..........I'm sure you will too. :D

We were also at WL in June and had bunk beds - it wasn't dark at all. My boys didn't complain about not being able to see the tv. The only thing they complained about was that you can't get Nickelodeon at Disney World and you can't get the Disney Channel at Universal! :D
