From the WL fact thead:

COURTYARD VIEW ROOMS: Courtyard view rooms can be located on top of the lobby, down the south corridor facing the falls/pool or facing the villas. On the North side, courtyard rooms overlook the falls/pool or at the end of the hallways, facing the lake.

DELUXE ROOMS: They are at the end of the hallways and are considered non-specific views. They can face Courtyard or Woods.

We have a Courtyard view room. I asked for North wing, nonsmoking upper floor (which would be 5th floor).

What is a Deluxe room ?
Are they bigge rooms ?
More amenities ?
I assume it's not CL level on the 7th floor ;)

Ever been upgraded from Courtyard to Deluxe ?

Thanks

from another post I found:

Deluxe WL rooms:
"It's the room with a separate sitting area, french doors dividing that area and the bedroom, two tv's etc. If you ever catch Samantha Brown's Great Hotels show (travel channel) on the Wilderness Lodge, it's the room they show in that episode. I priced one on disneyworld.com and it was something around $500/night I think, rack rate, in regular season which seems like a lot to me as it doesn't include concierge."

But then would a Deluxe room sleep 4 ?

We need bunkbeds for our teen DS and tween DD.

It'll be our 21st anniversary - so it would be some nice :wizard: magic if
we were bumped up. But just do not know how our DS & DD would sleep in a Deluxe room ? :confused3

The Deluxe rooms will sleep up to 6 people, following is information from my post on page 1 of Wilderness Lodge FAQ Thread

If you book a Courtyard View you will stll have a standard room which do have bunk beds available.

While I wouldn't say upgrades are never given to the deluxe rooms most deluxe rooms are booked well in advance by familys that need room for six, there are very few of these rooms.

STANDARD-TWO QUEEN BEDS (sleeps 4) Guest Room amenities include in-room wall safe, voice mail, and hair dryer, iron and ironing board. Coffeemaker and refrigerator are available upon request

DELUXE-TWO QUEEN BEDS & ONE SOFA BED (sleeps 6) The Deluxe Guest Room has a sitting area separated from the bedroom by french doors, additional television, refrigerator with ice machine, coffeemaker, and wet bar.
