WL Deluxe Question

First question, how big do the deluxe rooms feel at WL. I will be traveling with my husband, mother, and 2 year old. I am worried that in a standard room we will feel cramped. I have stayed in BWV before, will this feel similar?

Second, will the upcoming discount codes work on a deluxe room? I know they usually exclude suites.

The Deluxe rooms are usually not discounted as there are only a handful of them.
