:wave2: Hi...we are booked in late May this year, and was wondering if anyone could give us some great room numbers from their past stays? We are looking for a view of the lake, pool and high enough to see the MK fireworks from the balcony. Can't wait to go! :hourglass

I'm not sure you can see the fireworks from MK with the courtyard view; they're in opposite directions. We stayed in 1136 (I think it was...) which was on the ground level courtyard view, that I bet would be nice on a higher level...it was going toward the end of the hall too...I'm not sure if the floors above would be exactly the same. Another time we stayed in a woods view room that faced the castle and you could see the monorail, but I don't remember the room number. Sorry that wasn't too helpful, but again, I don't think you'd be able to see the MK fireworks AND have a couryard view. Maybe others might have more insight?!?

We had 6039, inner courtyard. Great view of the pool, lake and geyser.Email me and I'll send you a pic from the balcony, Idon't know how to post pictures here. :(

We had room 5041 and it was great. If you PM me, I will send you a pic of the view! But you have to decide...d you want fireworks OR lake/pool. I don't think you can get both. I would go with the lake/pool view if I were you! One caveat, though. I would take a lesser view to have a room on the 3rd, 4th or 5th floor. The 6th and above have SOLID balconies. You have to be actually standing at the balcony to see over edge. The slatted balconies (on 3, 4 and 5) are the "normal" balconies you probably think of.

If you don't want to start spewing out room numbers at check in...just ask to be in the "bear's face." Those are courtyard rooms that also look straight out to the lake.

Enjoy the WL...it si the BEST resort!

Don't the "Bear Face" Rooms open directly to the lobby? We were thinking of requesting one of these rooms, but we do not want a lobby room. My children don't sleep very well, and I need it quiet as possible. :ssst:

Will you send me the photo of your view? I will PM you.

Thank you!

I would love to see your photo and will PM you! We have 2 courtyard view rooms booked and have requested the North Wing, Inner Courtyard, view of Lake and geyser. Sounds exactly like what we are hoping for!

Thanks!

Hi triplefigs!
I will email you in just a second. And yes, you are right...the bear face rooms do open up to the lobby. I have yet to have on of those...because remember...the WL is in a "U" shape around the pool, but the "U" has kind of "jagged edges." I know the way I describe it probably does not make sense, but if you look at a map you will see what I mean. Anyway, we have gotten the lake/pool combo view two times without being in the bear face...room 5041 (I am gonna send you that view) and another time...I cannot remember the room number. But both rooms are down the hall from the lobby.

Honestly, I would like to try a bear face room cuz I think that would be so cool to see the lobby as you walk out your door every morning. But I am very sensitive to noise, so you make a good point. 5041 was also wonderful cuz it was well down the hall so you did not have too many people passing by and making noise.

Thank you! Noise is a big consideration for us. Currently we have requested North Wing, No Lobby Room, no 6th floor (kids all have asthma), view looking at Lake/Geyser. Does that sound good to get a quiet, inner courtyard view of the Lake?

Thanks again!

Yes, I think you have all your bases covered! I just emailed ya 3 pics...so PM me and let me know what you think! :)

Check your email. The photos are unbelievable!!! Was that a North Wing room? Sure hope we get lots of pixie dust at check in to get a room like yours!

Thanks again. Your daughter (and you!) are just beautiful. I appreciate you sharing the photos with me.

We were just there 2 weeks ago and our room number was 4143. We had a view of the pool, lake and the top half of the fireworks. We enjoyed the room alot. Maybe if you went to the 5th or 6th floor you would have a better view of the fireworks.

We had 2 courtyard rooms at 2 different stays.Room# 4161--great view of pool, lake, partial view of fireworks. If you were looking out towards the lake it was on the right inner side towards the end of the U.
The other room was rm# 5023.It was on the opposite side.Left inner side of the U so there is not a chance to see the fireworks but it was a spectacular view.It had an amazing view overlooking the pool and the bay.In the morning when the sun came up it was incredible. We would sit on the balcony with a cup of coffee and soak it in.I can't wait to go back.Good luck ;)
