WL courtyard room request question

Greetings all.

I posted this over on another board and it should properly be here...

Leaving on August 16, first trip back in years. I've never requested a room before - hell, I never knew you could until I started coming to these boards.

My question(s): Is it worth doing a room request - do you do them? And I've got a courtyard view at the WL - If I fax my request, what suggestions do you have as to what to include - a room number, floor, etc.

Any help appreciated.

It really depends on whether you hope for a certain view, bed type etc. When we were at WL we wanted bunk beds and hoped for a view of the otter pond. I faxed a request and we got the room we hoped for, although there isn't any guarantee. I'm not sure about the courtyard rooms. I would think they overlook the pool and the end rooms might have a view of the lake.

As for floor or room number, that would depend if you want an inside Courtyard View, the pool area or you want an outside Courtyard View, which overlooks the Villas next door.

If the room you are assigned is not to your liking, request a transfer. They normally will work with you on this.
