I booked courtyard view for about $20 more than woods view. Is it worth the extra money? Also, does anyone have any specific recommendations? This will be my first stay at WL and I want it to be super special for my almost 3 DS. Thanks so much!

during our last visit in May 2003. Our balcony overlooked the villas and some woods and our door overlooked the lobby. This was a pretty convenient location and my kids just loved the hotel.

I have read several times before that if you request a court yard view room, request a higher floor as it can be noisy in the court yard, especially in the evenings when there's lots of activity at the pool. We went to the pool on a few evenings and it is bustling out there. If you are light sleepers..... I'd request a higher floor!!

We fell in love with the WL. I'd love to try other resorts but the kids are set on bunkbeds. I think all the resorts should have bunkbeds!!!

Good luck and have a great time!!!:Pinkbounc

Both are nice. Both depend on the room you get. Some woods views are just wonderful, some are not much at all. Same is true with the Courtyard view. Generally speaking it is a better view with the courtyard as you also get to see the lake and the boat pararde and the geyser. (again depending on the room). I hate to say this but to me much depends on the room you get.

Courtyard view gives you great views of the pool and electric water parade. $20 is a steal.

Have Fun.

It depends..............

Woods View can be quiet and serene.

We prefer the Courtyard view because the "atmosphere " of overlooking the pool and the action.

It depends on which you think you would prefer. $20 is well worth it IMO. ::yes::

I love the courtyard view but do not like the enclosed balcony on the 7th floor. 5th floor is my favorite.

Thank you all so much!! I think we are going to stick with the courtyard view. Which floors do you all think are best to request? I have a little one, so we'd like it to be a little quiet, if possible.

Thanks again!!

I can't give advice on which floor to request but I can tell you I would easily pay an extra $20 to have the courtyard view. I've had woods view twice--one was ok with just "woods" but the other was of green roofs with woods in the far distance--I actually asked the man that dropped off our luggage "is this woods view?" The last time we stayed there we had a courtyard view and it was neat--we could see the geyser and the lake and it was just better. I didn't think it was too loud. We were on the 5th floor.
