Hi!

We have changed from AKL to WL for our December trip.

We are reserved for a WL concierge room. How do we check in? Is there a separate area for us like @ the Beach Club?

Also, I know these rooms are located on the 7th floor---what types of views do the rooms offer? Is the entire 7th floor concierge? Where is the lounge located?

We were there in August & had room 4012 & we had to use the elevators down past Roaring Forks. Are the concierge rooms down that wing as well? Are they near the lounge?

Thanks in advance.

Hi :)

I'm not a WL "expert" but we did stay at there, on the concierge floor, this summer. I can answer a couple of your questions! :)

The entire 7th floor of the Wilderness Lodge is concierge. There are a few different views, they are assigned according to request, and availability. We requested an inner courtyard view, and we were able to get that. I have pictures of the view on my web site; the link is in my signature below.

There is a separate area on the 7th floor where concierge guests can check in. Sometimes when it is extremely busy, you will be checked in, in the lobby.

The concierge "lounge" is actually spread out all along the railing overlooking the lobby, on the 7th floor. A lot of people don't like this, but we LOVED getting our food to a table and chairs, and relaxing while overlooking the lobby. The lobby is gorgeous, we never got tired of taking it in :3dglasses There is a new concierge lounge "room" where the food is set up. The food used to be set up on tables out on the floor. You can see pictures of this on my site, also. When we were there, the new room was almost done, but was not being used yet. So you can see both, on my site.

Hope this helps a little! :flower:

We stayed concierge last October. We requested a north side room and had a wonderful view of the castle and was able to watch the fireworks from our room at night. We also enjoyed sitting at the tables overlooking the lobby ....it is an awesome view.

Thank you so much for your responses. SeaSpray your pictures are wonderful.

PixiePop--do you remember what room you were in? We really would like a view of the castle if possible. :)

Thanks '

I am so excited--I just can't wait to go!

I was very interested to see your great photos. We will be at WL 9th to 16th Dec, although not concierge. I hope "woods view" will be good too. :sunny:

Yes, the room number was 7052. I really liked the view. I just wanted to let you know that if you looked down, there was like a service area, but it was very quiet and the view of the castle far outweighed the view downwards.

If you have any other questions let me know.
