Please tell me about the WL CL rooms and services. We may be upgrading our December trip to WL CL and I want to know what to expect and what the difference is. My mom has never stayed at WL before, so I wanted to make this Christmas present a magical one. DH and I are also celebrating our Anniversary while we are there.

Now this is we feel about the WL Club level. We love it! Can't beat the great CMs on 7th floor. You get a good selection of breakfast foods, snacks & small offering around 5 pm until 7pm. They will make your any ADR's via email by the concierge's planners. Who will email you six months out. I have always made my own ADR's faster foir me this way. The room are the same size as regular room but the beds seem to be higher off the floor. Turn down service. Packages delivered to your room if you get anything from the parks instead of having to go down to the store to get them (just make sure you don't leave don't distrub sign on door).Tell them you are celebrating your annivesary as well. I think you will like it. A word though book as soon as possible as they do tend to go fast around December even the regular rooms. Have fun it really is a great resort at Christmas time.:goodvibes

I've never stayed Club Level anywhere else so I don't have anything to compare it to. That said, we love the Club Level at the WL. I spent 2 weeks up there last year (2 separate visits)! It has a very homey feel. We often enjoyed sitting next to the balcony where the large screen TV is. Comfy couch. Food was great. CM's polite, helpful and personable. (Not very personable on the first trip but they were different CM's.) We loved talking to Daisy and, geez, I can't remember her name exactly....Jerrianne? Is that right? Anyway, they were great. The rooms are exactly identical to the rest of the resort. My understanding...The 7th floor was never intended to be for guests originally. IPO (Itinerary Planning Office) will email you so many days before your visit and make any arrangements for you that you request (within reason ;) ). Oh, and despite what others may say...you can DEFINITELY make a meal out of the evening food offerings. We did it frequently. Hope you decide to do this. It was such a relief not to worry about food after a long day in the parks....or breakfast in the mornings. Just grab and go!

This is exactly what I wanted to hear. My mom has to have special HA accommodations and they told us the room was a suite, what are they like? Do you know. We are getting the basic dining, but breakfast on the way out most mornings would be great. DH would love to come back in the evening and have a beer.

If anyone has pictures, I would love to see them.

Go here and scroll down to 'Concierge'. There are several photos there. The beer at the end of the day is great. But, my favorite was the goodies they put out each night until 10:00, if memory serves. YUMMY!

It is a deluxe room as they are not on 7th floor but the suites are. Nice looking no pictures but someone was carrying their luggage in & we was walking by & looked it.

It is booked and I am overly excited :yay: We are going Dec 13-21.

Suzanne princess:

How much more is Club level? Sounds like it's something to consider!

Dec 13-18 is $385/night and Dec 19-21 is $560/night for the first 2 adults in the room, then $25 per night per adult of the first 2. I am getting a 15% discount on the first 6 nights because I have AAA. This is for a Standard Room.

The WL Club area (7th floor) was an after thought and over the last few years they actually established a food/beverage serving area(room). Before it was served on tables in the hallway, but the dining tables still remain dispersed thoughout the 'U' shaped-opened hallway that over looks the lobby below...a few tables overlook the pool/bay area (backside of WL). Access to the Club level is obtained using your room key coded with Club access.

The Club CMs are located right next to the elevators hallway. The PR IPO provides the advance pre-arrival services. Club CMs are normally alerted of your arrival by the front gate guard or bell service. The will greet you at the front entrance and take you up to the Club. Your room may be available or it may not, but once checked-in you are able to take advantage of the club snack/food/beverage offerings. We found the staff to be very friendly and professional.

The food/beverage serving area is closed during specific times of the day where you are not able to go in and getr beverages. This differs from many of the other Disney and non-Disney Clubs. Specific items guest tend to hoard may only be provided upon request and you may not even know their available, since there stored out of sight. So don't be shy..ask the Cm's.

The food served in the club or any club found in Disney originates from the resorts restaurants...so for the WL this would be Artist Pointe and WCC. Food-snack change during specific times of the day with some staff restocking which was lacking in comparision to other Disney Clubs (our only negative observation). Empty dish or tray was common which could remain this way for for a shocking amount of time, if not for almost the entire serving time. Food offerings normally vary day to day and repeat based upon the day of the week. Hearty food offerings-basic rustic from Artist Pointe and WCC.
