WL CL with an air mattress or reg Poly room?

I had decided to stay at the Poly for the last three days of our trip, until my son said he wanted to stay somewhere else. So I kept looking and still have our Poly reservation. But this is what I've found and need opinions on -

We are a family of four, a very large family of four. I like that the Poly sleeps 5 but after posting a thread and getting feedback possibly using an inflatable mattress, I'm open to other resorts now.

We have stayed at the Poly before and I love it, but we've never stayed at WL, so it would be nice to stay somewhere new.

We will be going to the MK all three days during this part of our stay. We are staying the first part at BWV, in a 1BR. How is the transportation to MK from WL? How is the CL food? We've stayed CL at the Poly, BC and YC and liked them, I felt it was worth the additional expense.

The cost is $14.00 more a day to do WL CL, but it would really help out the budget, since we would eat breakfast in the lounge at least.

How is the WL? I've never really thought of staying there til now, why do you like or not like it?

Can you watch Wishes from WL? Does the ELP stop there?

Thanks!

You know the 1 bedroom villa in BWV only has two beds ( a king in the master and a queen pullout sofa in the living room), right?

There is a lot of WL info on the FAQ thread here but yes you can see Wishes over the trees, the ELP goes by on the lake, and the MK is a nice boat ride away. There are also boats to CR and Fort Wilderness. We love that the whole resort is under one roof, which is great in rainy weather. Enjoy!

You can book a WL room with bunk beds! :thumbsup2

Well, on CL, bunk beds are only a request, not bookable. That being said, when I requested the bunk beds, I got them.

Transportation to WL was either by boat or a 5 minute bus ride.

We simply loved WL CL. There was not one bad thing about it. The food was wonderful, the CM's were amazing. We had a cool (albeit, partial) view of the castle as well as Wishes from our room.

Our WL CL stay was perfection. :thumbsup2

We loved WL last year. If you are planning on getting 2 queens AND inflating a mattress I don't think you're going to find room for that there. The rooms seemed smaller to me than the mods because do much of the sq footage is in the sink/ entry way instead of the actual bedroom area.

I agree with all of the above - and I agree that there's no room for an air mattress in a CL room at WL. That had to be the tiniest room I've ever stayed in at WDW! Maybe if you moved the table & chairs out onto the deck, but even then it would be super tight. We did request & receive bunk beds, so there's an option to consider (although not a guarantee as stated above). I've stayed at WL and Poly & the rooms at Poly are WAY more spacious!

The words budget and CL don't go together. Have you thought about bringing/shipping or ordering breakfast items and eat in your room?

I requested a microwave last week at the poly and my kids were able to have oatmeal.

After staying in a 1-bedroom, those WL rooms are going to seem really small to you.

Decision made! I got a great deal today on a CL room at the Poly!!! I'm so excited! I'm bring the inflatable with us! Thank you everyone for your help!
