WL - bunkbeds - Has the lighting improved ?

I have read about poor lighting in the area of the bunkbeds at WL.
Has it improved ? Any modifications?
Do you bring any extra source of light, such as what ?
Flashlights ? Camping Lights (but then how to fit in a suitcase on a plane?) ?

The bunk bed room was great, but it had poor lighting. The wall lamp over where the second queen bed would have been was removed to make way for the bunks. Since there was no overhead lighting, this made the room very dark, especially the area where you put your suitcases. (Christa Hutchins)

Anyone know about bunkbed lighting ?
If not - I can call the WL and find out.

Personally, we didn't find our room at the WL to be dark. Here are some pictures of our room and I see that there's no light over the bunkbeds, but again, I don't remember the room being dark at all:

All of these pictures were taken using just the daylight that was coming in through the sliding glass doors. Also, we were on the 7th floor which has the solid-wall balconies that let less light in

, so I'm sure the rooms on the lower floors would be even brighter.

Unless whoever is sleeping in the bunk beds wants to read in bed at night, I wouldn't think you'd need to bring additional lighting.

We had a bunkbed room in April. There was a small light over the bunkbed. Its not as big as the one over the queen but it was fine. We really didn't find the room to be dark.

During our stay at the WL, we never had a problem with the lighting in our room with bunks.
