Just booked a room at WL for myself and 3 children for Thanksgiving and opted for the bunk beds when asked. I'm thinking that it may give us extra floor space. Have stayed at WL several times, but never had the bunk beds. Please let me know your opinions about them. Thanks.

We just stayed in a WL room with bunk beds. One thing I can say in comparison to the two different rooms (we stayed in a room with 2 queen beds two years ago) is on our first trip we were constantly bumping into the bedposts in the room with the queen beds and this trip it never happened once. There does seem to be a little bit more room between the two beds in the bunk bed room. On our recent stay we were in room 2020 on the second floor with a balcony overlooking the otter pond. I would highly recommend this room, every morning we stood on the balcony and saw bunnies, ducks and about three or four otters in the pond. My kids loved the bunk beds and we would definately stay in one of these rooms again.

The top bunk is very close to the bottom bunk. I have a 7 & 11yr old. Neither one of them could sit on the bottom bunk without hitting their head. Our bunk beds at home have much more head room in the bottom bunk and the boys would forget and hit their head a few times.
