WL April rate

Wondering if anyone is staying @ the WL @ the end of April and if they were able to secure a discounted room. I've only been able to secure a Triple A rate @ $239 a night (woods view). Does this seem high? I keep checking back in case someone cancels. But one CM this week told me that if a discounted room does cancel, the room goes back to "regular" inventory and the discount isn't offered again. That seemed contrary to what I've heard from other CM's. Thanks, Maggie

Have you considered purchasing an AP? You will most likely get a better discount with an AP than the AAA rate. Although, I do not know if those rates will be available this late out.

We stayed at WL last year in June and we had a woodsview and paid $155/night with an AP rate.

Have you checked www.mousesavers.com?

The CM who stated if a discounted room is cancelled it goes back to a regular room rate is something that I was told myself. The discounted rooms are usually from codes and when that code expires that room rate does too.

We do have AP's and we've been checking that code too. I guess it's just been a very busy season. Oh well. Gotta take the good with the bad. Last two trips got incredible rates @ GF and BC. Both under $200 a night. There's always next trip.......

I am staying at WL April 24-29 and got an AP rate of 139 for Woods View. We had a room with the code ONZ for 149 for Woods view, but then the AP rate came out. I booked this in early March. Good luck to you; the CM told me that you never know when they will open up more rooms with the codes. Keep trying!!

We are booked for WL the last week of April. I couldn't get a AAA room. I also couldn't use a discount code for our room, but I could for concierge - $285. So, what the heck, I booked the concierge. I did make our reservations the mid-March, so I wasn't too surprised that the discount roms were unavailable.

I am jealous! I guess we just missed it. I have called about 4 times to keep tring for a discount, and the fourth time is when I splurged on the concierge. Now, I'm afraid to call back -- who knows what I'll upgrade too!

It seems to be a timing thing. We can't come later. I could have upgraded to concierge but, i didnt' opt cuz of all the great PS's I have & didn't think we'd be at the resort enough to enjoy (or I'm just cheap) probably the latter....Maggie
