WL, AKL, or split stay?

I thought we had our minds made up about doing a split stay, but now I'm starting to 2nd guess myself. We stayed at WL for the 1st time this past December and fell in love with it. Having never stayed at AKL, we decided to try it out 6 nights, then switch over to WL for the remaining 7. Now, I'm worried we'll be disappointed with AKL.

What would you do?

I would deffinately try a split stay with that many days. I don't think you'll be at all dissappointed with AKL. It's a beautiful resort. Hope you have a wonderful time!

I know this is tantamount to comparing apples and oranges, but last year we split a stay between Pop and the Contemporary - our favorite . We never stayed at Pop and like you I was second guessing myself. Well, we fell in deep like with Pop to the point that we're splitting Pop with the AKL this year. Yeah, I know that Pop isn't the WL (a real beauty), but same principle. And like you we feel that the AKL is an unknown. But to my slanted way of thinking, if the Pop worked out very well indeed, imagine what the AKL will be like!! And it has ANIMALS!!!
