WL 8 Nights For $2930?

So, with all these confusion about "the code" and pin or no pin, I decided to call WDW and see what happens.

Called yesterday to see if there is a code or pin associated with our account (name, phone number, and address). The nice CM spent some time looking but found nothing. She did say she "updated" some of my info and "pushed" the information out again, so I should be expecting a postcard or email soon. She also said that my email account was checkmarked as to "not send" so she unchecked that (whatever that meant). Which is weird since I get a lot of "spams" and junk snail mails from Disney in general.

So, today, I decided to try again after I got "The Code" from someone on DIS. I figure, it does not hurt to try. I called back and lo behold, I can use it and on my dates too.

Wilderness Lodge Woods View, 8 nights (starting 9/29) w/ dining and 9 days park tickets for 2 adults and 2 kids, no travel insurance, for a bit over $2900. It's like $500 less than our AAA package that we already booked.

Of course I booked it. Tomorrow cancelling the AAA one

So is this a good deal?

1.) How old are your children?
2.) Woods view with bunk beds or without?
3.) Did the tickets include park hoppers?
4.) Can I get "the Code" from you?

That is Awesome. Check this out. I have WL Woodsview booked for myself, DH, DD 6 and DS 4 with dining and waterparks for 10 nts, checking in 9/27 at "rack rate" $4886.44.

So you gotta ask yourself..... Deal or no deal??? Congrats on the great rate.

1) Ages 8 and 4 at time of travel.
2) Woods view without bunk. We would like to have bunk, but they only have it for courtyard view for this rate. Since DW wants a lobby-facing room (requested it anyway) and the kids sleep in bunk bed at home already, we figure they may like to sleep together on a regular bed
3) Basic tickets, no hopper. We may add hopper if we need it when we're on site.

I just called and priced out WL 9/22 -9/29 6 nights, standard room, 6 day base park ticket, with dining and insurance for 2 adults 2 children and she gave me the price of $2982.82 - I asked her if there were any discounts or codes w/my name, she said no. Oh well, I guess I'll just wait it out. Sounds like you got a great deal.

I didn't ask her if there is any code/pin attached to my name. I just gave her "the code" that several other threads have been talking about. I did not use a pin - though I am not sure if it's because the CM sees that there is a pin attached to my account on her computer or this is a top secret general public code that has not been released yet.

Who knows.

I am so confused. But, I'll take it!
