Family visiting, so tried a few places we havent been recently.

Concourse Steakhouse - as usual a very good meal. Three filets and two Prime Ribs were just perfect. The Seafood bisque was a big hit. The chopped salad a touch spicy, Good Ceasar and the dessert not worth reporting.

LTT - lunch here was wonderful. The clam chowder took off the chill, fried cheese was ok and the Tri Corner sandwich very good. We had been advised to save room for the pound cake dessert but were unsuccessful. But it did sound really good.

Olivias for dinner. The menu had changed and looked pretty good but alas the group gave it a thumbs down. We started off with Conch chowder which tasted like it came from Campbells. The Artichoke and Shrimp dip was the best part of the whole dinner. A nearby table was looking for some sandwiches and we recommended they go to the POR food court. We later wished we had gone with them. The party ordered the special of the evening Scallops, Shrimp Alfredo (sauce was too light) and the Mahi Mahi. All were a disappointment. Wont be returning to this location anytime soon.

Le Cellier - Lunch. We decided to do a sit down lunch and a lighter dinner today. Our wonderful waitress Andy did a great job with recommendations and told us that Sunday the menu would be different. We had the Chedder Cheese Soup and the Mussels. All were good. Other entrees included the mixed green salad w/chicken, the Chicken Sandwich and French Dip roast beef. The Roast Beef was the best. Nothing looked tempting for dessert.

Sommerfest - Bratwurst and Saurkraut. After the large lunch no one was too hungry for dinner but we did split a few orders of Bratwurst and had a Lowenbrau. All voted this the best meal of the trip. Took a sneek peak at Oktoberfest and their buffet, great rate at $19.99. With DDE down to about $16. Our guest decided they would not miss that on their next visit.

Trails End - Our family was staying at FW and breakfast at this location is a tradition for some of us. Those who love breakfast deemed this the best value of WDW, not to mention the good food.

A final stop at DTD for a few items and a to go order at Earl of Sandwich for Dinner later that night. The Club, Oriental Chicken Salad and Cobb were very good. Cant beat the $4 sandwiches or $5 salads.

Our final lunch was at Beaches and Cream. We watched the poor hostess try to juggle cleaning the tables with guest who just didnt want to wait. Burgers, Hot Dogs and Sundaes were a great send off.

Hope this helps!
